Super Troopers with laya healthcare is Ireland’s first ever health homework program. A brilliant initiative run for primary schools around the country that focuses on bringing 3 core pillars into the classroom and right through to the home

Legacy were tasked with executing an impactful and very targeted campaign to reach parents across the country in a drive to ensure they were aware of Super Troopers, aware of laya healthcare’s involvement and asking their schools to implement the programme.

Our response was clear, simple and impactful. We worked closely with Ireland AM on TV3 to devise a well thought out series to bring each pillar of the programme to life. We had our mindfulness expert demonstrate simple mindfulness exercises for your children, our chef demonstrate simple nutritional changes for children and for our most impactful piece we worked with laya healthcare ambassador Johnny Sexton and a local school to showcase how easy physical activity can be via our TV3 content segment, a series of social media content pieces and several national media outlets who joined us during filming including The Irish Independent, the Ray D’arcy Show and The Star.

We subsequently brought Super Troopers with laya healthcare to life at one of the biggest family events in Ireland – City Spectacular. We created a large replica of a house to represent the health homework – the house included graffiti walls to act as a mindfulness zone for kids and smoothie bikes so kids pedalled to create their healthy food.

The campaign had wide reach across key channels over several weeks including Ireland AM; national media outlets; social media and digitally via our content series and reached a mass audience.
