BACKGROUND:

Legacy Communications worked with telecommunications industry leader, KN Circet, on the launch of their state-of-the-art training facility in November 2019. The facility will allow KN Circet to create an emerging trade in the telecoms space, driving their industry forward. The launch coincided with the announcement of 600 new jobs, showcasing the growth of KN Circet as a company and the viability of this developing trade for aspiring professionals.

STRATEGY:

We created a strategic PR plan to highlight this news through communications activities focusing on the benefits to the Irish economy and the education sector, and the substantial job creation. We engaged with target journalists and worked with government ministers to secure media coverage in some of Ireland’s most prestigious platforms and publications, such as RTE News, The Sunday Independent, Newstalk and many more.

RESULTS:

Our strategy didn’t solely focus on the company news though, we layered this with the story of the brand and the evolution of a successful Irish business that had grown through the passion of its people. We created interesting media placement opportunities that showcased the future of KN Circet but told the story of their past through creative storytelling. We placed this story in almost ninety publications over the space of two weeks, tapping into the power of media to bring a brand story to life.
